All CMCSS Schools closed through the rest of the 2019-2020 school year.
The 8th grade pick up day will be Wednesday, April 20th at NPMS from 8 am to 4 pm. If you cannot make it this day, you may also go on Thursday, April 21st. Materials from your locker, spring pictures, and yearbooks will be available to pick up these days. It will be a drive up service, similar to a dance.
We are continuing with week 6 of continued learning this week. The OPTIONAL resources can be accessed by going to: sites.google.com/cmcss.net/cmcsscontinuedlearninglibrary/middle/eighth-grade . You are also able to access weeks 1-5 materials through this link as well.
For families in need of food assistance:
Effective Monday, March 23rd until further notice, meals for children will be served Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at the following locations: Barkers Mill Elementary, Barksdale Elementary, Burt Elementary, Byrns Darden Elementary, Cumberland Heights Elementary, Glenellen Elementary, Kenwood Elementary, Minglewood Elementary, Moore Elementary, Norman Smith Elementary, Ringgold Elementary, and Woodlawn Elementary as well as Kenwood High, Montgomery Central High, Northeast High, Northwest High, and West Creek High.
This service is open to all children 18 years and younger. Meals will be distributed via a grab-and-go, curbside method. The child receiving the meal must be present at the distribution site. Meals cannot be consumed on site, per USDA regulations.
Each child will get a bag that will include four meals on both Monday and Wednesday, and six meals on Friday. This plan will reduce the amount of travel to and from the distribution sites during the week. Some of the food will require refrigeration and/or re-heating to ensure freshness.
We encourage families to practice social distancing and not congregate at the meal pickup locations. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the logistics of this program. Please visit www.cmcss.net for more information.
